TANNIN BASED OXYGEN SCAVENGERS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The UPS F. 903 Tannin based oxygen scavengers prevent oxygen pitting corrosion of boiler systems. The UPS F. 903 is conveniently formulated in liquid form for specific operating conditions or treatment needs. This is a good product for any application, and the preferred product for low temperature feed waters.
USAGE :
Your UPS Technical Service Representative will provide dosage requirements after thorough surveys of the boiler operation and feed water quality are made.

REGULATORY STATUS :
The UPS F. 903 product is formulated in compliance with subpart D, section 173.310 of the FDA food Additive Regulations for use in boilers producing steam witch contact food. Application to the USDA has been made for UPS F. 903 and its approved is approaching completion.
HANDLING AND STROGES
This product may cause severe eye and skin irritation. Harmfull if swallowed. Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear eye protection and rubber gloves at all times when handling these products. Avoid breating of dust or vapors. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from strong oxidizing agents. In case of eyes contact, immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. For skin contact, wash effected area with soap and plenty of water.
